MU Group, formerly known as Market Union Co., Ltd., was founded at the end of 2003. Currently, MU Group consists of over 80 business divisions and subsidiaries engaged in export trade and cross-border e-commerce. It comprises Ningbo Headquarter, Yiwu Operation Headquarter (dual headquarters), and 6 major operation centers in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Shantou. Our regional strategy is to become the No. 1 in the region. MU Group has 12 domestic branch offices in Ningbo (Jiangbei District, Southern Business District), Cixi, Qingdao, Nanjing, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Jinjiang, Zhongshan, Dongguan, Yongkang, and Lu'an. Additionally, we have 7 factories in Ningbo, Cixi, Yiwu, Anhui, Vietnam and Cambodia. Furthermore, the Group has purchasing and sales branch offices in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Manila, Izmir, Mumbai, Paris, London, Moscow, Mexico City, Panama, Warsaw, Lagos, São Paulo, Abidjan, and other areas. We refer to this as our "buying and selling dual-line business". MU Group aims to become China's first all-category supply chain management enterprise going global, providing global customers with Chinese products and services of extreme cost performance!
At present, MU Group has developed into one of the largest group companies in Zhejiang Province in terms of both self-operated export scale and number of employees. In 2024, the Group achieved a total export value of USD 1.954 billion, including USD 1.703 billion in self-operated exports (covering cross-border e-commerce) - representing a 37.15% year-on-year increase over 2023. In December 2024, MU Group reached a record monthly export of USD 210 million, and the total annual shipment volume hit 107, 800 TEUs, surpassing the 100, 000 TEU milestone for the first time. In January 2025, exports hit another record high, exceeding USD 230 million. Looking ahead, the Group's 2026 export volume is expected to reach USD 3.5 billion, with 6, 000 employees by the end of the year and a combined office and warehouse area exceeding 300, 000 square meters.
Helping Western customers with purchasing management and design in Asia has always been the group's main business. Our customers include leading global retailers, world-renowned brand customers, and Fortune Global 500 companies. We also provide fragmented and flexible procurement services for some overseas small and medium-sized retailers, brands and importers, overseas e-commerce companies, social media KOLs, and live streamers on Tik Tok. For the past 22 years, the group has maintained good cooperative relationships with 20, 000+ overseas customers from over 200 countries and regions worldwide, providing them with a range of value-added services of extreme cost performance, including digital transformation, market research, data analysis, product development and design, procurement services and management, packaging design, product testing and quality control, international logistics coordination, procurement agency financing, and after-sales support. In 2022, we began focusing our resources on the digital transformation of our business, vigorously developing our cross-border e-commerce operations, and positioning this direction as the sole strategic priority for the next decade of the Group's growth. We aim to continuously increase the share of direct retail business and direct corporate procurement within the Group's overall operations.
Looking ahead, our goal is that within three years - by 2028 - the total number of employees engaged in export trade and cross-border e-commerce will exceed 10, 000, and the annual scale of self-operated export and cross-border e-commerce business will surpass USD 7 billion.
